Painting I made: Yellow Flowers

I made this painting using Bob Ross oil paints on a pre-stretched canvas (2 for $7.99). It took me about 3 hours to complete and I used my fingertips to make the pedal details - hands were burning afterwards from the paint thinner.

I don't think I am creative enough to make a good painting, so I looked online for inspiration. I found a small image of a painting and I painted it with my twist on it.

Things to Invent and Ideas to Share

I often have ideas for inventions, but forget them quickly. One such idea was to create a page where people can log and share their ideas, receive feedback, and maybe score a contract to develop them when someone else reads about it. Such a page would apply the concept of Open Source - to ideas. Picture Eclipsed Moon Through Telescope

It was bitter cold, but I had to try to take a picture of the last full lunar eclipse this decade.
Time and location: 20 February 2008 at 10 pm in Lexington, Kentucky.
Imaging Details: 4.5 inch refractor telescope with a high-iso cannon point and shoot held to a 20mm eye piece.
